Following the huge success of Hope, Lily and Lionel’s first collaboration with Future Dreams, Dia is an equally covetable and wearable accessory for every woman. Meaning “light”, Dia combines a hand-painted base with a star digital print in shades of nude, ink, ivory and black in luxurious silk haboutai with a striking eyelash fringing. Ethereal and effortlessly cool, Dia looks just as chic dressed up as it does dressed down.
After suffering the effects of breast cancer, mother and daughter Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie founded Future Dreams in 2007 to raise essential funds for further research and new treatments into breast cancer. Following a diagnosis of incurable lung cancer, Sylvie lost her brave battle in July 2009. Tragically, her daughter Danielle was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in her lungs shortly before her mother’s death and passed away in September 2010.
The Future Dreams legacy continues to realise Sylvie and Danielle’s dream to open a Future Dreams House, home to The Haven breast cancer support centre. The Haven is the only national charity to provide free one-to-one emotional, physical and financial support to improve the lives of anyone affected by breast cancer. Currently there is only one London-based Haven Centre. Future Dreams is making it their mission to raise funds to build a second Haven in London’s Kings Cross.
All profits from the sale of our Dia scarf will go directly to Future Dreams. Lily and Lionel hope that Dia will bring light and support to this truly worthy campaign.
