“Being a woman to me today, means knowing I am enough. Clever enough, slim enough, attractive enough. A good enough mother, friend, wife, colleague. It’s having the confidence and strength to be kind to myself – perhaps not on a daily basis, but in an overarching way. Being a woman also means having choices. Maybe not all the choices and maybe not all at once, but the opportunity to earn the money and raise the kids and travel the world and fall in love and write a book and move to the seaside and wear a showstopper dress, whenever the mood takes me.”
