LUCK OF THE IRISH: BROWN THOMAS BUYER KAREN HIGGINS GIVES US A GUIDED TOUR OF DUBLIN

In honour of St. Patrick's Day, we're throwing it over to Karen Higgins, Accessories Buyer for Brown Thomas. As Ireland's most luxurious store, we're proud to count Brown Thomas as one of our lovely stockists and wouldn't trust anyone else to show us how to explore Dublin in style.

Sleep

My new favourite hotel in Dublin is the Dean Hotel. The Restaurant is on the top floor of this cool hotel, with super views of the roof tops of Dublin and is a great place to meet for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Drink

For a low key glass of wine, Bagots Hutton on Dublin's South William Street is a real gem. It serves fine wines by the glass together with great cheese boards and charcuterie in a totally relaxed atmosphere. A small bar well worth checking out!

Do

Not so much a hidden gem but a must do in Dublin is a visit to the Irish Museum of Modern Art. It's housed in the beautiful Royal Hospital Kilmainham, a wonderful 17th century building with super formal gardens. A fantastic way to spend the afternoon in Dublin.

 Wear

My absolute favourite scarf from the SS15 collection is the super silk O'Hara scarf. I pick one up every season so have quite a collection now, but they're so classic and can be worn with anything. This season, I'll be wearing mine with my pale blue cashmere sweater denim jeans and new Valentino trainers!
