The disparate weather at the moment may be causing chaos throughout London, but didn’t put a halt on visitors attending The Affordable Art Fair. The place to be for contemporary art lovers took place in the picturesque surroundings of Hampstead Heath from 16-19 June 2016.
The Affordable Art Fair features a collection of over 100 galleries including the Beardsmore Gallery (London) and StandArte (Madrid), and, showcasing art from emerging talent to already established names, the Fair hosts pieces of work ranging from £100-£5000, ready to be carried home. However, if you’re not interested in buying but just want to brush up on your art knowledge or dig into a creative class, the Fair provides a jam-packed day out for the whole family with an array of activities varying from kids’ workshops, to multiple talks and tours.
First launched in Battersea Park in 1999, the Affordable Art Fair now takes place in numerous cities across three continents, including New York, Seoul and Milan. The next taking place in Hampstead is to be announced soon, but the Fair will be returning to Battersea this October, so make sure to grab a pair of tickets and delight in a fun-filled day out!
